To the uninformed outsiders, the North conjures up images of snow and mud. While most of this is the truth, all still know the North as being the home of breathtaking vistas, mighty islands off the coast, and above all, a place of honour. There has been not one hero, who hasn’t been born in the North, crafted from the lands harsh natures. "

Ürsanthium, is a federal republic consisting of 16 islands and a federal district. Out of the 16 islands, 14 of them are populated with many different Races of Amsnorth. The most known one, the Great Valour Islands is the birth place of the humans and considered one of the oldest known civilizations in Amsnorth. Even though the Great Valour Islands, as well as the Burnt Islands are different kingdoms entirely, they are still a part of Ürsanthium, and form under the same government.

At 764,398 square miles (1,979,782 km2) and with over 65 million people, Ürsanthium is the world's largest country by total area and third most populous. It is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multicultural nations, the product of large-scale immigration from many countries. The geography and climate of Ürsanthium are also extremely diverse, and the country is home to a wide variety of wildlife and mythical creatures. The country is also home to the tallest mountain in Amsnorth, the Solar Mountains, with its highest point reaching 49,000 feet.

Dark-Elves migrated from the Burnt Islands to what is now Ürsanthium mainland around 25,000 BPD, with colonization beginning in the shortly after. While the first recorded races of the elves begun to settle across the Main Lands, the Dark-Elve settled within large areas of Ürsanthium, building and forging small civilizations. The Dark-Elf Empire after conquering most of the world, begun to make the country into their own source of gold and mining, building hundreds within cities and villages. Disputes between the Dark-Elf Empire, and the Human Government and the colonies led to the War of Gold and Black. After years of battles, the humans managed to break away from the empire, destroying it in the proccess, and with that made Ürsanthium into their first royal country. They elected their own king, known then as the King of Ürsanthium.

Driven by many battles and horrific events, the humans of Ürsanthium begun to move across the Northern Regions, tyring to claim more lands from inhabitant races. They managed to defeat clans of goblins and drive out trolls from their own small civilizations. By conquering most of the country, many factions were split into 12 districts, which are still to this day, owned by a noble house. Each of these nobles houses rule over their factions, and are responsible for brining in income to the treasury within the capital city, Qhylen

Ürsanthium is a developing country and has the world's third-largest economy by nominal and real currency, benefiting from an abundance of natural resources and high worker productivity. While the country economy is has its own independent factions, it is within the Human Royal Government, and along with many other countries, it must fuel its economy through friendships, trade and marriages. 

A person origin from Ürsanthium is called a Santhium.


The country was given its name from the ancient elves, being named by a Dark-Elf man called Ürsakti'Umi. The dark-elf chose to name the country after himself, and muddle up elvish words such as, Thium - meaning Beauty amd Santium - meaning sanctuary. The name has stuck with the country since its formation, there have been many other names it has had by others, but its offical name still to this day remains its final.

The total name Ürsanthium is regarded as meaning, the Beautiful Sanctuary, where men of all backgrounds can stay, where they can live a peaceful and glorious life. 

The first known book, called Tales of Ürsanthium was written around 23,600 BPD by a Green-Elf name Hyeegar, which gave other names for the country that were used by the Green-Elves and Wood-Elves, (Kuratchi) meaning Dark Lands.

more years ago. Each of these beings were elves, all of different species. While at this time they were all under the same truce, and regarded as being equals, Shalimal, Andriel and Soliman, of their own spieces decided to split, and forge and form their own civilizations, which are now known as Dark-Elves, Wood-Elves and Green-Elves. They all developed advanced agriculture, grand architecture, and state-level societies. After the first human tribes made the first contacts, the native population declined for various reasons, including diseases such as smallpox and measles, and violence. The humans brought with them remarkable resources found in their native Valour Islands, and along with their intelligence, helped the three rivial races of elves see reason.

In the early days of colonization many Santhium settlers were subject to food shortages, disease and attacks from the growing Hauket tribes, forming in the wilds, seeking to claim more land for themsleves. Hauket were also often at war with neighbouring tribes, and even the goblins. The hauket chefs started to grow wary, when the empire's emperors and several kings from other races rose up against them, and thus they started to shove them back into the wilds. In order to prevent a great all scale war, the hauket people traded for food and animal pelts, and other wares. The hauket taught many settlers where, when and how to cultivate corn, beans and squash. They also taught them how to hunt and gut animals with ease.

In return, the Dark-Elf Empire gave them protection and lands for their own, along with farms and horses.


After Shalimal's first conquest of the world, other explorers followed with settlement into the eastern, southern and northern regions of Ürsanthium. There were also some dwarf attempts to colonize the east coast, and later more successful settlements along the Dead Marshes (Sapphire Lands as it was back then). Successful human settlement on the eastern coast of the country, which constructed the city Windhark, along with many other villages and towns. The humans and dwarves also built the very first foundations that would become the capital city, Qhylen. Early experiments in communal living failed until the introduction of private farm holdings. Many settlers were dissenting different religious groups who came seeking religious freedom.

Most settlers in every colony were small farmers, but other areas of the country developed within a few decades as varied as the settlements. Cash crops included weed, rice and wheat. Areas grew up in furs, fishing and lumber. Manufacturers produced rum and ships, and by eventually Santhiums were the largest ironworkers in the whole of Amsnorth.

Cities eventually dotted the coast to support local economies and serve as trade hubs. As coastal land grew more expensive freed indentured servants pushed further west. Slave cultivation of cash crops began in the country, with the Dark-Elf Empire using humans and dwarves as workers and builders, to creat and construct castles and forts around the country. 

With many of the country's factions breaking up, and attempting to be rid of such brutal slavert, all had local governments with elections open to most free men, with a growing devotion to the rights concerning laws and justice, as it was with fellow country, Royalandüs. With extremely high birth rates, low death rates, and steady settlement, the colonial population grew rapidly, and eventually the country became one of the highest populated areas in Amsnorth. This caused an problem for the empire's economy, as they were forced to supply gold and resources to help handle the growing population. Villages and towns were built to harvest and house the growing people, and over 300 farms were fashioned for grow furter foods and crops. The adoption of holding farm animals increased, and hundreds of animals from across the seas were mirgated to farms, where they were raised and bred with each other, breeding different spieces together to form new kinds of wildlife.

Independence and further ExpansionEdit

The War of Gold and Black was the first successful colonial war of independence against the Dark-Elf Empire and their increasing slavery rate. Santhiums along with the Afrannian folk, had developed an ideology of "republicanism" asserting that government rested on the will of the people as expressed in their local legislatures. The war was started off lead by dwarf lords across the seas, however after years of plotting the dwarves eventually gave up, which left the humans the only ones able to stand a chance against the empire.

The empire recognized the independence of the humans following their defeat at Battle of the Dead Marshes. Following their defeat by the humans, the empire was left crippled, and with that, the wood-elves and green-elves mobolized to the human's cause, and assisted them in destroying the empire completely. They wiped out the dynasty and murdered thousands of nobles and lords loyal to the empire and their cause. Slavery was abolished in Ürsanthium, and was named illegal with the penalty of death.

Although the federal government criminalized the international slave trade after the war, there were many highborn nobles from across the seas and other countries that were still using it. It was illegal within the lands of Ürsanthium, but the King of Markwall used slaves for almost everything, and the King of Ürsanthium sought to remove it from the lands of the West. An unsuccessful attempt to do so, lead to Ürsanthium being defeated by the Markwall forces, and the title of monarch was removed from the country. 

Geography, climate, and environmentEdit

The land area of Ürsanthium is 764,398 square miles (1,979,782 km2). While it takes up more than half of the Northern Regions, it does not have complete control over it, as during their attempt to abolish slavery, the Dwarf

Kings seized a large portion of the North, leaving around 1/6 of Ürsanthium no longer a part of their country. The country is the largest country in the world, when combined with its islands and small civilizations no joined to the country's main land.

The coastal plains of the countr gives way further inland to deciduous forests and the rolling hills. There are hundreds of small forests spread throughout the country, and where the Sapphire Lands once were, the Dead Marshes now take up. It was once a beautiful place full of rich landscapes and villages, now is mostly a swamp, filled with ancient dead bodies of fallen warriors. 

The Solar Mountains lies just within the country's borders, with the othe half being in Seginthul. It can possibly be said that the mountains are in fact native to that country, but before Seginthul became a country as it was now, Ürsanthium took up a great deal of that area. The Solar Mounains reach the highest peak of 49,000 feet, making it the highest point in the whole of Amsnorth. It can be seen from hundreds of miles away, and many people who can reach its peaks, are rewarded with an item crafted from very valuable stardust.

Ürsanthium, with its large size and geographic variety, includes most climate types. The climate ranges from humid continental in the north to humid subtropical in the south. While it is the hottest place in Amsnorth, it is not always warm in day. Its nights are often more warmer than its average day, and this proves to be a problem as some animals and people can have heat strokes. 


There are thousands of kinds of animals living in Ürsanthium, with the most common being the deer and mammoth. Either of these can be found nearly everywhere, and in great numbers. While these mammoths are common, not many people will hunt them, as they are most likely guarded by giants

There is around 30 miles of Darkwood Forest in the country, which is rumoured to house the famous cyclops. A mythical beast that has been told in many mythical tales for thousands of years, however it is the only mythical beast to have possibly have lived, as the Magical Beings used a cyclops eye as one of their magical cores within their magic staffs.

There are also werewolves within Ürsanthium, vampires, gargoyles and other demonic monsters. Although it is rare one of these are seen haunting nearby civilizations as there are hundreds of soldiers per village, town or castle. The rarest of birds are seen within Ürsanthium, named Button-Beak Eagel. It is only native to that country, and is seen flying over many villages and towns. Hunting them is illegal within the country, and if seen killing or harming one the penalty is death. The eagel is also the cousin of the griffon, the sigil for House Lukie and Ürsanthium.

being a mixture of many different kinds of races. Around 5,000 BPD there was around 1,000,000 people residing within the country, as the world had suffered greatly during the Great Purge, which saw about the deaths of over 2,000,000 people.

It was not until Robert I Heartan defeated the Army of Darkness, did the humans and dwarves, along with many other races begin to breed greatly. The average human family had 7-9 children, while dwarves had between 10-20 children. Elves were a slightly less developing race, with the average elf having 2 or 3 children per family. The only two place to be more populated is Seginthul and the Dwavern Kingdom, which have 88 million and 66 million respectively. 

Like most places around the world, humans take up around 55% of the country's population, being more than any other region in Amsnorth. The country is also very supportive over the elvish race, with the execption of Windhark, where they are exiled and forbidden to live within its walls.

There are also leavons living within the country, but there are very, very few of them, being around 1 or 2, but this is mainly only when Queen Nymeria is wondering around that area, as they are assigned to protect her.

Hauket are native to Ürsanthium, being their origin country. They are outcasts within the country, but there are places that accept them into their walls. They take up a great deal of the population, being around 10%


Rochillion is the most common speech in the country, as it is with every human dominated country. Rochillion is the msot wide spread language in Amsnorth, with nearly every educated person being taught the tongue. The reason it is so popular is because it is what never ever human, dwarf and elf speak in every civilization. The orcs also speak this language.

Gaenapease is also a language used, another human tongue. It is rarely used, mainly because little people study it, only being of an ancient bloodline. Dwarfik is also another rare speech, mainly because not many dwarves outside the Dwavern Kingdom study or learn it, as there is little reason to learn it. Elvish is only spoken by highborn or noble elves staying within the country, and it is also a very rare tongue. It will be rarely that you see anyone speak elvish, but if they are, it is likely that the elf is very old, or highly educated. Giberion is a common speech within trolls, goblins and giants. It is spoken by all goblins and other barbarion race. The hauket race speak Mūḷachuan and do not speak any other language, with the execption of the chef.


Relgion is a very strong place within Ürsanthium, with the Mystic Dragon being the most popular. Every god has at least 2 shrines, temples or churches in which any being, native, outlaw or barbarian have access to. Only in these

places are laws against the governments useless, and no blood can be shed. If any violance is shed, it is rumoured that the gods will strike the being down. 

Around 60% of the people worship a god and only 10% of these will worship there god every day. There are some nobles who refuse the worshipping of gods within their lands, as many believe religion to be the reason of many wars in the past. 

Dragons are also worshiped, even though they are not gods. Hauket see them as their masters, and worship them in huge gatherings, in which all members of that tribe participate. The ritual is called a sweat-lodge, similar to that of real life native american rituals. Within this, they pray bellow a green comet, and once the pray is finished, a green dragon will swirl in green lights, and the ground will light up in sparks. One done, the chef will recive guidance on his next objective.

Government and PoliticsEdit

Ürsanthium is the world's oldest surviving federation. It is a constitutional republic and representative democracy. The government is regulated by a system of checks and balances, in order to keep justice and law in tact throughout the course of its reign. While the country has its own government, it is still under the command and control of the global wide government, Human Royal Government

In the Ürsanthium Government, citizens are usually subject to three levels of government: federal, state, and local. The local government's duties are commonly split between factions of noble houses and municipal governments. In almost all cases, executive and legislative officials are elected by a plurality vote of citizens by district. There is no proportional representation at the federal level, and it is very rare at lower levels.

  • Legislative: makes federal law, declares war, approves treaties, has the power of the purse, and has the power of impeachment, by which it can remove sitting members of the government. The Senate is also a part of this area, and many debates held are within the Senate.
  • Executive: can veto legislative bills before they become law, deal with rent and trade. 
  • Judicial: whose judges, interpret laws and overturn those they find unconstitutional. These are held within a sept, where justice is served, where evidence must be present, along with witnesses.

The Human Royal Government is the leading branch of all these dealings, and they have the final say in everything that happens within he country's goverment, as well as the Senate. While the Senate is a faction of the government itself, they must answer to the Royal Goverment without question. The government is ruled by the King of Amsnorth, who is currently Harken II Heartan.

The Senate has 20 members with each noble faction having at least one or two senators, elected at-large to six-year terms; one third of Senate seats are up for election every other year. There is not offical head of the Senate, and they are all seen as equal power, even though many would like to think otherwise. 

The War Council is also a major event that takes place in the government, mainly because of its great usage within affairs concerning local enviroments and dealings such as executive and legislative areas. They also advise and observe matters of the Lord or Duke, to form a council of information to help assist that ruler in leading their lands.

Foregin RelationsEdit

Ürsanthium has a strong relation with a vast amount of regions and countries, with their most loyal allies being Royalandüs, under the control of House Heartan. Such a friendship has existed beteen House Heartan and House Lukie for hundreds of years, but it was not until Lord Rodrik Lukie married his daughter, Rhynei Lukie to Harken II Heartan, the current King of Amsnorth. Due to Harken's strong relationship with House Boulderrock of the Dwavern Kingdom, Ürsanthium gains support and funding from them.

Trade between all countries is their major useage of relations, and with many human regions, by marrying off nobles to others, to create a joining of houses to gain further power. The same thing happens with the dwarves, but elves on the other hand have no say nor any operations within the relations of the country.


Ürsanthium has one of the largest armies in Amsnorth, as well as some of the best trained knights and commanders in the Main Lands. There are roughly around 80,000 soldiers in the country, most of which are humans and dwarves. The Duke of Ürsanthium is the commander-in-cheif of the forces, and all of its leaders.

The joining of the military is from the person's own doing, and the country will not force anyone to join its ranks, unless in dire need. The age of a man able to join the military is 13 years of age, where they will undergo training until the age of 18. Depending on how successful they are in their training, some can be awarded with a title of general, commander, captain or even on rare occasions. knight.

The budget of the military is around 20% of the country's income, and the Duke uses a great deal of additional gold to construct barracks around the country, to help train and even create weapons. Out of the 80,000 soldiers, around 25,000 are archers, 5,000 axemen, 40,000 swordmen and 10,000 heavy horse. 


Ürsanthium has a capitalist mixed economy which is fueled by abundant natural resources and high productivity. According to many claims by the country itself, its annual income of gold is around 20,000,000 per year, making it one of the wealthest places in the known world

Ürsanthium is the fourth-largest importer of goods and second largest exporter, though exports per capita are relatively low. It also has some of the greatest oil drenched areas in the Main Lands, as well as some of the best rocks and woods for crafting. It gains its greatest income through oil, as it is a major important aspect to much of Amsnorth's operations. Consumer spending within shops, stalls and others, comprises 88% of the economy. People from acorss the country spend hundreds each year on things such as: clothing, bedding, potions, food, weapons, and livestock. 

The country can often be remarked as being immortal, as its connections to House Heartan, gives it a great amount of gold, as royal house is the founding and leaders of the Human Royal Government. Due to their marriaged and joined relations, the country has a constent supply of gold and riches, along with great protection.


Ürsanthium has a strong education, and it thrives and lusts for perfect students. It takes much pride in its schools, and for the success of historical beings to have come from their schools. Like many other countries, funding for education can be a problem, but due to its massive economy, and due to its great schools, Ürsanthium is the second largest country in the world for being able to become immune to the pressure of education.
